Its just so intense. There’s no need for showy animation, effects, music and colour. Don’t get me wrong its lovely to have colour and a voice to the characters, but manga is like the soul of the story. Anime can’t exist without it. because i said so

Uuuuuuuuu i hate this question because everyone has some huge in-depth hypothesis on the subject and I’m just like ‘..my intuition says its tenten’

I think its either Izuna orrrr Kagami Uchiha (danzo’s old team-mate which we know very little about).

Izuna because he knows all about Madara’s past and also the Uchiha/sage heritage etc. and he has more of a motive because of how brutal their lives were in the past and you he could’ve pretty easily faked his death (especially if he were telling the story) because it didn’t go down in history unlike Madaras.

Kagami because, although little is known abut him, he could have been in alliance with Danzo whilst pretending to be dead or s/t (idk) and obtaining information on the village such as the push to kill off the Uchiha clan (and obtain their eyes). But then the flaw to this idea is that Danzo would have recognised Tobi/ what would Kagami’s motive be?

The only things that stump me is Madara talking about Nagato when he’s revived in chapter 560 and then in 561 talking about “our plan” which must mean he has been alive/present since his ‘death’ and not just a short period as believed by most, but long enough for him to meet Nagato and conjur a plan (but not age according to his tensei?) Which could (i use that term loosely) imply that Tobi is a Madara/zetsu combination.

Honestly, I really have no idea, there’re concepts I like and think could fit in quite well, but they all have flaws in them too. So I I have no clue who Tobi is, and I actually don’t care that much either. We’ll find out in due time.
